Gary Moore was a musician with acres of soul, depth and talent and I believe that he was at his most creative and inspired on this album. The songs/compositions are excellent and cover a wide range of musical styles, ranging from rock/blues rock through to jazz fusion, funk and soul/5(80).
Gary Moore "Back On The Streets": Listen to me woman, I just think it's a sin. I know you hear me knockin', But you won't let me in. M.
Irish rocker Gary Moore has always managed to exist somewhere in the netherworld of blues, pop, and hair metal. His enviable guitar chops helped him carve a career as a reliable sideman for everyone from Thin Lizzy to Rod Argent, but by the time he became immersed in the scene he'd developed a serious songwriting bug. Back on the Streets: The Rock Collection captures the heavier side of Moore.
Moore’s Rockin’ days are over, shame really. Don’t worry this compilation will rekindle some happy memories with 12 great rock tracks. The classics like ‘Out in the Fields’ and ‘Back on the Streets’ are there obviously there, ‘Wild Frontier’ live is a phenomenal track, one of my personal favourites too.

Editors’ Notes Irish guitar luminary Gary Moore played with everyone from Skid Row (the '70s blues-rock band) and Thin Lizzy to Traveling Wilburys and B.B. King. So it only makes sense that his first solo album—’s Back on the Streets—sounds just as musically frostbrewjojolemaverad.xyzinfo opens with the power-rock title track, which sounds as if Phil Lynott could have written it.
